World-class figure skaters coming to the Halifax Metro Centre to present “Holiday Festival on Ice”. The line up includes: Jamie Sale and David Pelletier, along with 2008 world champion Jeffrey Buttle, four-time world champion Kurt Browning and 2006 Olympic silver medalist Sasha Cohen. In the spirit of the season,
Feed Nova Scotia will be onsite collecting food and cash donations.

| On December 5, Metro Transit, along with the Amalgamated Transit Union (ATU) Local 508, C100/Metro Radio Group and Scotia Bank, will hold the 18th Annual Stuff-a-Bus campaign for FEED NOVA SCOTIA. The event kicks off during the morning rush hour when the Metro Transit Stuff-a-Bus will park at the C100 studio on Agricola Street to collect food and monetary donations. Drop by C100 in the morning or register your school or business. Throughout the day, Metro Transit and ATU Local 508 volunteers will travel throughout Metro picking up donations from schools and businesses that registered for the event.

| CBC Food Drive

Corner of South Park and Sackville Street
|
The CBC’s Information Morning and Main Street teams will be broadcasting live from their location at the corner of South Park and Sackville Street. FEED NOVA SCOTIA volunteers and CBC employees will be collecting food and cash donation on site from 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM and the FEED NOVA SCOTIA team will have an onsite warehouse set up to receive and weigh the food donations as they come in.
